Lazy days in the sunshine. What a difficult life.
Yesterday I drove a luxury SUV through the desert and mountains. It was incredible. No photos can do the experience justice.
Bellagio Fountains :)
Inside Caesar’s Palace. :)
Bally’s stained glass.
Sunrise in Las Vegas.
It took me several month to decide which decal I wanted for my MacBook. Here’s the one I decided on… It showed up today. I love it.
More note cards!
Spring is springing!
I have an addiction to this sculpture. I can’t pass it without taking a photo (or ten).
After well overdoing it at the gym this morning, I spent a lazy afternoon with my kitties and Girls. All in all, good day.
I made a set of notecards for a friend today. :)
Light and shadows on the wall of the Mosaic District parking garage…
My latest craft project: photo note cards.
Yes, I do sell them. ;)
I read a lot. But I do almost all of it on my iPad, so I forget just how much I love libraries (and book stores)! Yesterday I decided to wander into the local library to take a peek around for a few minutes. I ended up leaving with a book on CD that I hope will make my commute more enjoyable. And of course, a photo or two of the shelves of books. :)
Part of American Eagle Outfitters’ “We Love” window display at Tysons Corner.
I have a thing for Metro stations. Especially since I don’t spend a lot of time in them. They’re novel to me now.
I love Sunday morning movies. This time it was Silver Linings Playbook with my roommate. I simply can’t say enough good things about that movie. It’s definitely my favorite of the Best Picture noms. So far at least.
I don’t mind snow a bit when I don’t have to go anywhere. =)
This morning’s commute was another of the snowy variety. Totally could have been worse though.
I almost forgot to take a photo today… So, I present grainy kitty.
Pentagon City windows and lights.
Cute, cuddly kitty Saturday morning snuggles progression…
Sleepy kitty is very sweet.
I love baked potato soup. I decided to try to make some at home using a recipe I found online. It tasted really, really good. But, there were no chunks of potatoes in the soup. (I’m not sure what happened to all of them. Weird.)
Still on the hunt for a new recipe. Suggestions welcome.
It’s nice to be home.
I’ll tell you more about today when I post some other photos later, but it’s safe to say it was a very cool day.
This is my art project. :)
The Gaylord has some beautiful fountains and chandeliers. This photo shows both. :)
Some more Gaylord randomness…
I can’t begin to tell you how much joy this guy brought to my life during dinner tonight at Aquarium in Opry Mills.
Yee haw, Nashville.
Well, I’m in Nashville. This is the view from the balcony of my hotel room in the Gaylord Opryland. This place is… weird. It’s enormous. Everything is under one roof. You can forget for awhile that you are inside a giant building as you walk along the paths, particularly at night, then you look up and see the roof. It’s beautiful… but strange.
Also, it’s a directionally challenged person’s worst nightmare.
It’s going to be an interesting week!
Today was crazy busy. I didn’t have time to think up a creative photo. So, I present a photo of tiles. I loved the colors.
Another year (and photo-a-day project) has come to an end. I hope everyone has a fun and safe New Year’s Eve and an amazing 2013.
Sunday was an incredibly lazy day. One that was very much needed.
I can’t escape it. It’s snowing in VA now. At least it’s light snow.
It snowed again today… Yay?
I must have been a really good girl this year. My Aunt and Uncle bought me an iPad Mini and my Mom and Dad bought me a MacBook Pro. A very merry MacChristmas, indeed. :)

329: Today we decorated. I’m getting in the holiday mood now. :), a photo by kimberlyfaye on Flickr.
